Blush Branding and Mural

Blush is a brand new women-focused coworking space currently located in Cary, North Carolina with plans to expand to cities all of the country. They set themselves apart from other coworking spaces by prioritizing the unique needs of working women by providing a harassment free environment that promotes networking and collaboration and offers childcare. The founders of Blush came to me in the early phases to create a logo and color scheme that represented the modern woman: a strong, professional individual who views her femininity as an asset. We chose various colors of Blush to play off the name, and established a clean and cohesive brand. I designed and painted the mural to feature the multitudes of identities of women, while maintaining a modern, graphic feel that is pervasive throughout the space and brand.

Potential Magazine

I decided to take on the role of being the writer, designer, photographer, and editor of my very own magazine for this project. Potential Magazine is a lifestyle magazine aimed at teenagers. The concept of the magazine is that teens are capable of achieving much more than the stereotypes that the media has placed upon them. Magazines geared towards teenagers are often focused on celebrity drama, "How to Interpret Your Crush's Texts" articles, and beauty tips that leave them feeling inadequate. I wanted to create a contrast to this by making a magazine of empowering substance and useful information for people around the ages of 15-19.

Dell EMC Cyber Recovery Report

Dell EMC requested a report made to showcase the performance of their new CyberSense data recovery technology. I designed the report and icons to create a reader-friendly and engaging report that explains how the data recovery solution works.

Highrise Repair Digital and Print Ads

Highrise Repair asked me to create a simple advertisement featuring their provided services for both print and web ads. The client wanted an editable file that allowed space to add callout text that could change based on where the ad would be featured. They also wanted an interesting graphic featuring their tagline, “A Crew with a View” to be used on various merch.

MIND THE MATTER, A MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS CAMPAIGN

Mind the Matter is a statistics-based campaign to educate the public about mental illnesses. The name Mind the Matter is a play on words of the adage, "mind over matter" with "Matter" representing brain matter, reminding us to pay attention to what goes on inside our heads.

The subway poster series is designed to be fun and colorful as a way to make mental illness a topic that is inviting to talk about. Many mental health campaigns are very clinical looking, adding to the feeling that mental health is something that should not be discussed openly. The hope is that these posters educate the public and make mental illness a stigma-free topic of discussion.

The living statistic creates discussion about mental illness, as well as illustrates the personal experiences of those who participate. Through the living statistics, people can better understand what is most hurtful or helpful to say to someone who is coping with a mental illness, as well as see the thought process of a mentally ill person.
